Why Urban Furniture
Built the same way since 1972
Hand-Finished Construction
Every frame is joined, sanded and finished by hand in our workshop, the same construction method we have used since 1972.
Considered Materials
Solid hardwood frames, natural upholstery fibres and finishes chosen to age well, not just to photograph well.
Built to Order
Most pieces are made to order in your chosen fabric, color and configuration rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.
Made to Last
Furniture designed to be lived with for decades, not replaced every few years.
Since 1972
More Than Fifty Years of Craftsmanship
Urban Furniture has designed and built sofas and living room furniture since 1972. Across five decades, our approach has stayed the same: solid frames, natural materials and construction done by hand, updated for how people live today rather than how they lived fifty years ago.
Every collection, from Luxury to Custom Made, is built in the same workshop, to the same standard.
